Smart Beginnings Southeast

What We Do

Smart Beginnings leads families and community parents in maximizing resources to assure that all children 0-5 are prepared emotionally, cognitively, socially and physically for school.

We know that when children from birth to five have quality early childhood experiences, the whole community benefits. In fact, the Federal Reserve estimate that investment in quality early childhood care and education may yield eight to sixteen times more than dollars spent later in life.

Child Care Center Owner/Director

Smart Beginnings is a go to partner for us. When we have a critical need for things like equipment and supplies, or when we need additional trainings for our staff, they always come through for us.

Some of our children have health or developmental challenges Smart Beginnings works closely with us to identify and begin to correct those issues now-before it’s too late

A Smart Beginnings mentor provides us with guidance and access to training. They put a lot of thought into childcare, and we really benefit from that. We learn more every day about quality care, and we are able to implement so much of that knowledge because of Smart Beginnings.

Child Care Center Lead Teacher

Smart Beginnings is a real life saver! Anything I need- advice, or training information- I call them. They are always there, ready to help.

The training I get through Smart Beginnings comes right back to the kids here and helps expand their development. They really help us maintain our focus on quality care. Everything is covered, from motor skills to cognitive development and even nutrition.

Smart Beginnings helps us create an environment where child- care is a profession. I’ve worked in other places where the teacher’s role is more like that of a babysitter. This is so much better, for me as a professional and definitely for the children!
